I'm a software developer with 10+ years of experience building applications and systems with C#, primarily through my work as a Unity game developer. Over the years, I've developed a strong interest in backend development and the engineering challenges involved in building reliable, scalable services.
I've been building projects with ASP.NET Core to deepen my understanding of REST APIs, authentication, databases, and backend architecture. What started as an interest in learning a new area of development has grown into a career goal: transitioning my experience as a C# game developer into backend engineering. This portfolio documents my journey.
I'm excited to bring the problem-solving, software architecture, and C# experience I've gained through game development into a backend-focused role.
Projects

-
Leaderboard API
With my background in game development, I've always wanted to add a leaderboard to one of my game projects. I built a lightweight API using ASP.NET Core Minimal API. The API is currently deloyed on Azure and serves a live application.

Pie Shop API
I built a REST API for a fictional online pie shop to explore real-world backend development. The API features full CRUD operations, authentication with role-based access control, logging, filtering, searching, and pagination. This project allowed me to put RESTful architecture and common API design patterns into practice.

Pokedex API
My first solo backend project, built to develop a foundational understanding of API development with ASP.NET Core. I created a Pokédex API with full CRUD operations for storing and retrieving Pokémon data, giving me hands-on experience with the fundamentals of backend development.
